The only price incurred was the hiring of professional cleaners which involved cleaning carpets, walls, windows and floors. We carefully considered furniture placement using pieces we already owned to maximise the potential of each room.  Curb appeal was vital and a small amount of garden maintenance was all that was required. After being placed on the market, the house was sold in 1 week and we achieved full asking price on the property. Another property we aquired sold within 2 weeks and again we successfully achieved asking price. The only expenses incurred were a repaint of the property and hire of a few pieces of furniture to successfully stage the property.  With so many similar properties on the market, we were able to keep one step ahead of the competition with an investment in the property of approximately 1% of the asking price of the property while other similar unstaged or vacant properties stayed on the market for a longer period and were faced with price drops amounting to tens of thousands."
